Instructions

    • 1

Cut your sheets of thick card stock into squares approximately 3 inches by 3 inches. Cut 24 squares total, although you can cut as many as you like, the more you cut the more challenging, just insure you have an even number of squares at the end.

    • 2

Place your squares in piles of two, so that you have 12 piles of squares. Take your first square and draw whatever image you like on it. Make sure it has a lot of color and catches the eye. For example, you can draw a yellow smiley face, black cat, red car or make your own eye-popping design.

    • 3

Replicate the image you drew on the first card, onto the second card in the pile. While it may be impossible to get them to match exactly, try and keep it as similar as possible, using the same colors and shapes. Set your two matching cards aside and repeat the last two steps with your remaining eleven piles

    • 4

Mix up your cards and lay them face down and you can now play your matching game by trying to flip over two cards that match. If you flip over two cards that don't match, flip them face down again and the next player will try their hand at it.
