Tower of Sugar
Since sugar is a popular addition to tea, incorporate it in your party games. Set a tea kettle on the stove to boil. Sit all the players around a table with a large bowl of sugar cubes in the center. During the time it takes the water to boil, players must stack the sugar cubes to build the highest tower possible. The player with the highest sugar tower when the water boils wins. The sugar can then be used in the tea.
Tea Relay
Break the group into teams and provide each team with a bucket of water and one spoon. Set a table across the room with a tea kettle, a cup and a teabag for each team. One player at a time, the teams fill the spoon with water and walk it as quickly as they can to the tea kettle, trying not to spill on the way. When a team decides they have filled the kettle enough to make one cup of tea, they bring the kettle to the stove to boil the water. The first team to make one full cup of tea wins.
Bag Toss
Place a kettle of water on the stove to boil. Set up a table with one teacup for each player. Mark a spot on the floor at least three feet away from the table that players must stand behind. During the time it takes the water to boil, each player tries to toss as many teabags as possible into her teacup. The player with the most in her cup by the time the kettle whistles wins.
