Game for Boys
The Game for Boys is partly an activity kit and partly a board game. Two to four players ages 8 and up will enjoy this game while learning important skills that every boy should know. Kids who play this game are challenged to complete a variety of tasks, such as skipping stones, tying knots and magic tricks. The game also has questions categories, which cover such subjects as collecting bugs and stargazing. Players take turns moving pieces on a board, completing tasks as they come to them. The winner is the player who completes all eight of the assigned tasks first. This game is available from toy stores and online retailers.
Capture the Flag
Boys will love this exciting game of hiding and chasing. It is best played with two groups of at least three or four boys each. Team 1 takes the backyard as its base, and Team 2 gets the front yard. You can use other divisions, but this works well in a neighborhood setting. Flip a coin to determine which team gets to hide the flag (an old towel, shirt, or other item) first. The first team takes the flag and hides it somewhere in its base area. The other team then comes in and searches for the flag. The defending team tries to tag the invading team members before the flag is captured. If the invaders capture the flag, it must be taken back to their territory in order to win the game. If there are enough kids playing, teams can also send spies and post lookouts.
Sword Tournament
In this game you must battle your way through all kinds of wild and creepy creatures in order to finally do battle with Moryn, the evil wizard. For every opponent you defeat, you gain a password that must be remembered. Each time you defeat a gruesome opponent, you are one step closer to the final showdown with Moryn. Watch closely as you fight through the levels for hidden cheat codes, which will help you in your quest. Beat Moryn to win the game.
