Memory Pairs Games

The human brain reacts like a muscle to training. The more you exercise it, the better it works, up to its maximum capability. By playing memory games, such as matching pairs, you give your brain a workout and help it to become the best it can be. Play these games often for the best results.
  1. Matching

    • This online variation of the classic concentration card game uses a board made up of tiles which are placed face down in columns and rows. To play, you must race the clock as you find pairs of tiles which match. Click two tiles to reveal the pictures which are on the front. If the pictures match, the tiles will remain face up. If not, when you click a third tile the first two will be returned to the face down position. Each time you reveal a new picture, try to remember if you have seen the other tile with that same image. If so, click it to match another pair. If not, keep searching. When the clock runs out, the game is over. If you match all the pairs in time, you win.

    Memory Pairs

    • Memory pairs starts simply, requiring you to match two pairs of balls. In the first level, two pairs of balls are hidden behind four gray doors. The doors slide open briefly to reveal the balls, then close again. Match the pairs of balls as quickly as possible. As the game progresses, each level adds more pairs of balls. Get a match right for 500 points, but make the wrong choice and you lose 200. Play all nine levels to win the game. See if you can beat your own high score, or challenge friends to see who can do the best.

    Concentration

    • To play this classic card game, shuffle a deck of cards and lay them all out face down, in rows of 9 or 10 cards each. Players alternate trying to find pairs of cards, such as two kings, by turning over cards two at a time. At first it's just guessing, but when a card is revealed and you know you have seen another one before, the task is to remember where it was, and turn it over to make a pair. Players pick up pairs as they find them. The winner is the one with the most cards after all matches have been made.
