Girlie Ball
Take a regular-size playing ball like a soccer ball or a kick ball and write on it with a permanent marker. Write as many questions as you can fit on the ball--the questions should cover the surface but still be readable. Go out in the yard and place all the girls in a circle. The girls will throw and catch the ball randomly. When a girl catches the ball, the question under her right thumb is the one she will read aloud and answer.
Drip, Drip, Drop
Drip, drip, drop is a game that involves the girls getting wet. Get a small bucket of water, and have all the girls sit in a circle. Choose one person to be "it." The "it" person will go around the circle and drop a small amount of water on each person, and everyone will say drip for each drip she drops, until she decides to empty the entire bucket of water on one person, and that will be the drop. The girl who gets the bucket dropped on her has to get up and race across the circle to get back in her spot before the "it" does. If she does not get back to her spot first she will become the next "it" person.
Baking Scavenger Hunt
Set up a scavenger hunt for the young teen girls to gather ingredients and bake a sweet treat. Split the girls up into teams. The catch in this game is they have to get the sweet ingredients from the neighbors. Make sure only one team goes to each house. Provide them with the basics: a yellow or white cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. The other ingredients should be collected by going door to door to neighbors' houses. The ingredients that are collected by each team should be included in the in the batter and cooked. Once the cake is finished let each of the girls taste and rate each team's cake. Whichever team has the highest rating wins. If you have an outside garden with fruit, include that in the scavenger hunt to see how the girls include those items into their dessert.
