- Hunting Unlimited is a game that you can download to your computer for a free trial or purchase online. The game allows you to pick from a variety of environments an areas of the world to hunt and track animals such as the United States, Canada and the Bavarian Forest, with a range of 110 terrains with varying levels of difficulty. If you choose to hunt in North America, you'll be able to hunt moose. Before you begin hunting the game lets you select from a variety of weapons such as rifles, crossbows and shotguns, as well as supplies like binoculars, scents and decoys. The more successful you become at hunting moose and other animals, the more challenging the game becomes.
Cabela's Big Game Hunter
- Cabela's Big Game hunter gives you a third person perspective on hunting as you control a hunter through the wilds of f Montana, New Zealand, Africa and British Columbia. As you manipulate the hunter, there are cross hairs in the middle of the screen. These cross hairs turn red every time an animal appears, and on the side of the screen you get statistics on the animal's weight, age and gender. Similar to life, in order to shoot an animal you need hunting tags, and if you shoot more than three animals without the requisite tags, the game is over. There are a range of animals available dependent on the landscape, and if you choose a North American locale, you could hunt Yukon moose. Occasionally during a hunt an animal will attempt to kill you in which case you have to shoot it or dodge it. The more you successfully deal with obstacles the better your score becomes.
North American Hunting Extravaganza
- North American Hunting Extravaganza begins the game by first requiring that you select your avatar. The game presents you with a range of avatars, all with strengths and weaknesses. The game gives you around 20 challenges over four distinct areas. Usually the challenges entail finding out how many animals you can shoot over in 2 to 3 minutes. The animals prevalent in the game are the ones common to North America, such as coyotes, deer, mountain lions, grizzly bears and moose. Periodically, there's a "boss battle" where you must shoot a ferocious animal. The more you refine your hunting skills with this game, the more you can enter more dangerous landscapes and hunt dangerous animals.
