Fun Clean Games for Kids

Kids' games are fun for everyone. It is a way for you to spend more time with the kids, get exercise or have something different and interesting to do. You can play games anytime and almost anywhere. You don't need very much equipment to play many games, and most of the objects you do need, you probably already have. You can play anytime with your own family or on sleepovers, parties or when other kids are visiting.
  1. What's My Line

    • This is a fun game that kids can play outside or inside and on any day. It is great for a sleepover, for a playtime session or a birthday party. Sit the children in a circle and have one player leave the room. The children in the circle should decide on the career that the child who left the room has, such as a rock star. When they are ready, they should call the child back into the room and he should sit in the center of the circle. The child in the center then asks what he needs to buy for himself in his new career. Each child can call out objects that are associated with that career. They may suggest a guitar, a costume or a microphone. The child in the center must guess what his career is.

    String Treasure Hunt

    • When the kids are bored, play a game of string treasure. String two or three balls of colored yarn all over the house and yard. Place the string over and under furniture without allowing the string to break. Place the children in teams and have them roll up their yarn balls. The first to finish finds treasure at the end of the roll. You can use small gifts, party favors, homemade gifts or candy as the treasure.

    Slam Game

    • This is a great outdoor game for the entire family, and you can play it in the driveway, or any other flat, hard surface. Draw a line with chalk down the middle of the driveway. Have one player stand on one side of the line and another on the other side. Have other players stand in line off to the side. Player one places one foot over the dividing line and bounces a ball as hard as he can toward the other player. Player two has to catch the ball before it hits the ground a second time. If she does, she bounces the ball back in the same way player one did. If she doesn’t catch it, she goes to the end of her team player line off to the side and another player comes in. Keep score, and allow the team with the highest score to win, or end the game when one player defeats every player from the other team.
