Instructions
Test the pipe by inserting one 3/4-inch pipe into one of the 1-inch pipes and make sure they are a snug fit.
Cut the seven 10-foot-long, 1-inch-diameter pipes, into 20 16-inch pieces and 10 39-inch pieces.
Cut the three-quarter-inch PVC into 60 pieces that are 2 7/8 inches long.
Put glue on the outer edges of one of the tees. Take three of the 3 three-quarter-inch pieces and put one in each of the openings of the tee. Repeat with the rest of the tees and the elbows. Allow the glue to dry.
Form one side of the base with one 39-inch piece and two 16-inch pieces with the two smaller pieces attached to each end of the large one by elbows. Repeat for the other side of the base. Join the two parts of the base with a tee. Keep the third part of the tee facing up.
Place a 16-inch piece on the top of the two tees. Put a tee on the top of these two with the third part facing inward. Put a 39-inch piece of pipe connecting the two tees and running parallel to the 39-inch base pieces. Repeat this two times with the last 39-inch piece making the top rung.
Glue all of the pieces together if storage is not a problem. Leave the glue out of the first upward piece to allow for the top and base to be taken apart to make storage easier.
Repeat steps 5 through 7 to make the second ladder. Color-code the three steps with the three different colored tapes, making sure to put the same color on the same step on each ladder.
Wrap clear duct tape around the joints for extra strength if necessary.
Drill a one-quarter-inch hole through each of the golf balls. Tie a knot in one end of one of the rope pieces. Slip on a ball and let it hit the knot. Tie another knot right on top of the ball to keep it in place. Tie a knot on the other end at the same distance in from the end as the second knot. Put another golf ball on and tie another knot at the end of the rope. Repeat with all of the golf balls to make the bolos with two golf balls to a rope.
