John Deere Combine Combat
John Deere is one of the world's leading manufacturers of tractors. To help build even more brand awareness, the company sponsors Combine Combat, a game in which the player controls a John Deere tractor with the goal of harvesting the most crops in the field. The trick is that another, computer-controlled combine is harvesting the same crops. The player must utilize level power-ups and real John Deere accessories to win across many levels of play.
JCB Rally
JCB Rally is a pretty easy game to play. You use the arrow keys on the computer keyboard to drive a tractor around a racetrack. The challenge is avoiding the cones and obstacles in the way. The game keeps track of how long it takes to complete each lap, allowing you to try to beat your previous times.
Farm Game Toyz
The Farm Game Toyz website offers tractor games among its many other farming games. On the right side of the main page is a search bar. Type in “tractor” to search for games. One of the results that comes up, Turbo Smoke 2008, is a simulated tractor pull in which you can adjust the weight placement, tire inflation, and even tractor body in order to pull your load over the goal line.
Another fun game on the site is Jumping Rednecks. You click and hold an on-screen gas pedal to give your tractor enough power to drive off of a ramp, fly through the air, and land on the other side. While you're in flight you'll have to avoid a number of obstacles. The game tells the optimum speed for each level in order to clear the obstacles. Going too fast or too slow results in a crash on the other side of the ramp.
Cars: Tractor Tippin’
Hot on the heels of Disney/Pixar’s hit movie “Cars” is a free game in which the player drives Steve McQueen, the film’s protagonist race car, through a field with the goal of tipping over as many sleeping tractors as possible. All the while, McQueen is being chased through the field by a combine named Bull. After a few encounters between the two, the game will end.
