Fantastic 4
Activision Inc.&'s "Fantastic 4" follows the plot of 2005&'s "Fantastic Four" movie, and is available for the Game Boy Advance, GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox platforms, as well as various Windows systems. The game lets players take control of the "World&'s Greatest Heroes." As The Human Torch, The Invisible Woman, Mr. Fantastic and The Thing, players control fire and fly, create force fields and disappear, stretch and reshape their body, and possess superhuman strength and a thick, protective skin, respectively. Throughout the game, players battle Doctor Doom and other Marvel Comic villains. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rated the game "T" for teens age 13 and up.
Fantastic 4: Flame On
Johnny Storm--better known as The Human Torch--goes solo in Activision Inc.&'s "Fantastic 4: Flame On," available for the Game Boy Advance platform. Playing as Torch, players battle villains such as Dragonman, Galactus and Terrax through 20 levels. Players fly, jump, run and shoot fireball projectiles at enemies, and engage in mini-games testing their extreme sports talents. The ESRB rated the game "E10+," for ages 10 and up
Fantastic Four: Mechanized Maelstrom
The four heroes battle Dr. Doom and his mechanized minions in the online "Fantastic Four: Mechanized Maelstrom" game, accessible at sites like NickToons. After choosing two heroes, players press the "Left" and "Right" arrow keys to move in those directions, the "Up" arrow key to jump, the "Down" arrow key to block and the "Z" key to swap heroes. To launch a combo attack involving multiple moves, players repeatedly press the space bar. Players must make it to the end of levels to advance in the game.
Fantastic 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer
Based on the 2007 movie of the same name, 2k Games&' "Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer" focuses on intergalactic herald Silver Surfer&'s plan to prepare Earth for destruction. Available for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii systems, the game features a "Fusion Attack" tool allowing players to combine the forces of all Fantastic Four members. In addition, players may transform into any Fantastic Four member at any time. Aside from Silver Surfer, other enemies wreaking havoc include Dr. Doom, Red Ghost, Super Skrull and Terrax. The ESRB rated the game "T" for teens 13 and up. Players also may try the online version of the game at sites like Gamez Hero.
Fantastic Four: Rush Crush
The Thing tries rescuing his fellow Fantastic Four members in the online "Fantastic Four: Rush Crush" game, accessible at sites like GameZ Hero. Players press the "Left" arrow key to block bullets, the "Right" arrow key to knock missiles down, the "Up" arrow to perform a "Jump Smash," and the "Down" arrow key to perform a "Floor Punch." After accumulating sufficient power, players press the space bar to perform a "Power Smash," which simultaneously destroys multiple Doombots. If players&' health depletes before rescuing a Fantastic Four member, the game ends.
Fantastic 4 vs. Dr. Doom
Players go into exile until their next turn upon battling and losing to Dr. Doom in Pressman Toy Corp.&'s "Fantastic 4 vs. Dr. Doom Game." After choosing a superhero playing piece, players make their way around the board, relying on superpowers to move from place to place in rapid fashion.The first player to find Doom&'s hideout wins the game.
