Games for Age 11 Girls

Preteen girls are always looking for fun things they can do with their friends at recess, at home, and at birthday parties. Here are a few games that will liven up your conversations, find out more about your friends and maybe even yourself!

The "Um" Game
- One girl of the group chooses a category that most 11-year-old girls would be knowledgeable about (for example, boy bands, clothing brands). Each girl must take turns naming items in this category. A girl gets kicked out if she says "um" or takes too long to think of an item. The last girl left wins the game.
Would You Rather?
- This game requires at least two 11-year-old girls. Each girl must take turns giving the other girls two interesting, embarrassing or funny situations and the other girls must choose which situation they prefer for themselves. For example, "Would you rather eat one hundred ants or three cockroaches?"
Look-A-Like
- Each 11-year-old girl chooses a celebrity, real or fictional, they look like the most. They have 20 minutes to do whatever they can to make themselves look even more like this celebrity (make-up, hairstyles, clothing). When everyone is ready, choose who is the best "look-a-like" of their celebrity.
