Treasure Hunt
A treasure hunt game can work for a group of girls or for an individual girl. Create a list of different clues that lead from one place to another, either inside or outdoors. Have the first clue lead to the second clue and so on. At the end of the line, have a prize or present for each child that plays the game. You can also have the girls find a certain amount of objects inside each room as the clues progress (such as four gummy bears), before they can move on to the next clue. Another fun treasure hunt game winds a piece of string around the inside of the house. The girl must unwind the string to find where it leads.
Mummy Wrap
This is a fun game for seven-year-old girls, especially around Halloween. Divide a group of girls into groups of three or four. One girl will be the mummy. The other girls must wrap her in toilet paper. The team who has the most wrapped girl at the end of two minutes is the winning team.
Hula Hoop Relay
Divide a group of girls into two teams. Provide each team with a hula hoop. Have all of the girls stand in a line and hold hands. The girls must pass the hula hoop down the line without letting go of each others hands. The first team to pass the hula hoop down the entire line wins.
"Animal Crossing"
"Animal Crossing" is a video game released on the Wii and Nintendo DS gaming systems. In this game, the player controls a person who is part of a town. In the town, the girl playing can meet neighbors, plant flowers and trees, collect objects to display in a museum, buy and sell objects to furnish a house, and many other activities. Since there is quite a bit of reading in this game, it is designed for girls age seven and older. This game has a high replay value because there are no set goals in the game, and there is almost always something else to collect.
"Endless Ocean"
In this game, the girl playing plays a diver who dives into the ocean and finds specific species of fish. Information on each fish is recorded as part of different gaming checkpoints. The player must also fulfill certain missions to find specific fish or landmarks for different clients. A seven-year-old girl will have fun learning about different species of fish and exploring the large ocean bed.
