King Pin
King Pin is an indoor game that needs a large area to play in, possibly an open basement or recreation room. Players are divided into two teams, with each team standing on one side of a line drawn in the middle of the playing area. Each team is given three large bowling pins. The object is to knock the other team's bowling pins down with a rubber playground ball. Players can be eliminated if they are hit with the ball. If a player catches the ball, the player that threw the ball is out. Each pin may only be defended by one player; he is the only person allowed within 2 feet of the pin. The first team to knock down the other team's three pins wins.
Dictionary Game
Divide your group into four to seven teams with an equal number of players per team, or as close to equal as possible. Give each team a stack of paper to use. Announce a word from the dictionary. Each team must write down what it believes to be the correct definition and its team name on the top of the page. The referee writes the actual definition on a piece of paper, as well. The referee then reads the definitions out loud and each team votes for what it feels is the correct definition. A team receives one point for guessing the correct definition and two points for each team that guessed its definition was correct. Highest scoring team after seven words wins.
Two Truths and a Lie
Direct each player to write down two factual statements about himself along with a false statement. The false statement should not be so bizarre that it's obviously false. Take turns having the players read the statements. Each player then votes for which of the three statements are a lie. The reader reveals which one was a lie, and one point is awarded to each player that guessed correctly. Continue until each player reads his statements, and the winner is the player with the most points. It is possible to have multiple winners if there is a tie.
