Things You'll Need
Instructions
Open the battleship cases, and place them so the backs of the two cases are touching each other. Players should not look at the other player's battleship case playing area.
Place your five ships on the bottom half of your playing case that is flat on the floor. The ships cannot be placed diagonally, they must be placed horizontally or vertically.
Organize your pegs into red and green pegs. When using these to mark your guesses, use red for hits and white for misses.
Alternate turns during the game announcing a space on the grid. The grid is labeled for each player on the top half of their playing case. The grid is 10 by 10 using letters A through J for rows and numbers 1 through 10 for columns.
Announce if your opponent hit one of the spaces your ships were on or if it was a miss. If it's a hit, place a red peg in the hole for that grid space on your ship. After your ship has all of its holes hit, remove it from the playing area.
Mark the hits and misses that you make on the grid on the top half of your playing case using the red and white pegs. This will help you remember where you had hits and avoid calling the same spaces multiple times.
Continue playing until one player has had all of his ships removed from the playing area. The other player is the winner.
