Letters from Limbs
Begin this problem solving game by first gathering your players in a common area. Split the players into several teams of four or five people, positioning each group some feet away from each other. Call out a letter from the alphabet, such as "A" or "M." The players in each team have to quickly get on the ground and form themselves into that letter using only their bodies. The first team to complete an accurate version of the letter gets a point for the round. Continue the game by calling out more letters in each round. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Hunt for Food
Before this game, hide plastic pieces of food around a large room or outdoor area. Then divide the players into several teams of about three or four people each. The teams have to select one person to play the leader. To distinguish themselves from other teams, the players have to also come up with a unique "animal" call for use later on in the game. Separate all of the leaders from their teams and blindfold them. When you say "Go," the teams have to find the pieces of food around the room. When a player finds a piece of food, he sounds his call to alert his leader. The leader makes her way over to the sound and picks up the food. No one other than the leader can take the food from its hiding place. The game ends when all of the food is found. The team with the most food wins.
Protect Your Egg
This game starts by dividing the players into teams. Give each of the teams an egg and some materials such as cardboard boxes, tape, scissors and paper. Tell each of the teams they have to come up with a way of keeping their egg from cracking when thrown from a high precipice using the materials you gave them. Separate the teams some distance from each other so none of the groups cheat. Then, after about 10 minutes, take each of the teams' projects. Find a spot at least 10 feet off the ground to drop the structures from. After you drop all of the pieces, check them to see which teams' eggs did not crack, if any. Award the teams that accomplished this goal.
