Pin the Carrot on the Snowman
Whether you have snow outside or not, try playing this twist on the classic "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" game, as suggested by the website, Party Shelf. First build a snowman, then, line up the players a few feet away from the snowman and blindfold the first player in line. Lead that player up to the snowman and then turn her around a few times. Give her a carrot and have her try and place the carrot in the right position on the snowman. The next player in line does the same. If snow isn't present, simply print out a picture of a snowman and some paper carrots. The same process as above applies, except the player has to try and place his paper carrots on the paper snowman. The person in either game who gets closest to the correct position on the snowman wins the game.
Drawing Winter Scenes
Seat all of the players at a table with a piece of paper and a writing utensil. Begin this game from the website, Party Game Central, by blindfolding all of the players. Then, give them instructions to draw a simple winter picture. For instance, tell the players to draw a ice-skating rink. Then, tell them to draw a snowman on the ice-skating rink. After that, have them draw the snowman's button eyes, then its corncob pipe and so on. Once about 10 instructions are given, survey all of their pictures and give them points for accuracy. For example, if a player actually drew the snowman on the skating rink, she gets one point. After looking at all of the pictures, whoever has the most points wins.
Find the Snowballs
A great indoor game for players of every region, prepare by first rolling up some wads of toilet paper to create fake snowballs. Then, hide all of the snowballs around the room. Divide the players into teams of at least three players each. Have teams decide on a winter holiday song to use later in the game, such as "Frosty the Snowman." Select one leader from each team to separate from the rest of the groups and blindfold them. Tell the other players that they have to locate as many snowballs as they can. Once a player finds a snowball, he sings out his holiday song to call the leader to him. Only the leader can pick up a snowball. The game ends when the players find all of the snowballs. The team with the most snowballs wins the game.
