The Nintendo DSi is a hand-held electronic game that has evolved over the years. It started as a small, simple system that played games through cartridges and is now, according to Gameolosophy, "the most successful hand-held video game console of all time" at over 124 million units sold. The Nintendo DSi comes in a wide variety of colors and features two large screens and a stylus. It also features a camera and is Web-capable. According to the Nintendo website, there are 1,261 games available for the Nintendo DSi as of 2010.
V.Smile Cyber Pocket Learning System
The V.Smile Cyber Pocket is a hand-held electronic game system created by Vtech. It is designed for children ages 5 and up. It features a small, flip-up, high-resolution screen and a stylus. You are able to use any of the V.Smile cartridge games with the Cyber Pocket which, according to Vtech, "teach the essentials of language, mathematic and other age-appropriate skills."
Pandora
The Pandora system (a product first on the market in late 2010) is created by OpenPandora, which calls it "the most powerful gaming hand-held there is." The Pandora features a full QWERTY keyboard, WiFi capability, an 800x480 screen resolution, and a 10-hour battery life. The company calls it "a mixture between a PC and a gaming console."
