Mummy Wrap Game
Grab two rolls of toilet paper. Divide kids into two teams and hand each team a roll of toilet paper. The teams select one player to become the mummy. When you say "go," the kids have to wrap the mummy as quickly as they can in toilet paper, covering his whole body in order to win. The first team to complete this task wins the game. Depending on how much toilet paper you have to use, let the kids take turns playing the mummy.
Do as I Say, Not as I Do
Assemble the kids into a circle. Either select a child to play the leader or play the leader yourself. The leader instructs the kids to do something as she does something else. For instance, tell the kids to rub their heads while you hop on one foot. The leader consciously tries to trick the kids into performing the same action she performs instead of performing the action she instructs them to do. Continue with these types of instructions, disqualifying any kids from the game who do not follow what you say and instead follow what you do. The last child standing wins the game.
Shadow Play
Attach a white sheet to the top of the ceiling so that it hangs low to the floor. Gather some objects from around the house that are identifiable by their silhouettes. Turn off the lights in the room, except for one light source behind the sheet directed toward it. Assemble the kids on the other side of the sheet. Hold out the objects in front of the light so that they cast shadows onto the sheet. The kids guess what the shadows represent until you run out of objects. To proclaim a winner, keep track of how many guesses each kid correctly makes.
