Crazy Police Car
Players must drive at super speeds when playing "Crazy Police Car," accessible at the FlashArcade site. Players press the "Left" and "Right" arrow keys to steer the car and move from lane to lane. Pressing the "Up and "Down" arrow keys controls the car's speed, while pressing the space bar causes the car to jump. If players drive the required distance within the allocated time, they advance to the next level; if they fail to do so, the game ends.

Police Pursuit
Players patrol the town and chase suspect vehicles in "Police Pursuit," accessible at the Miniclip site. Pressing the directional arrow keys move the police car in those respective directions, and pressing "X" causes the car to drift. Players follow the red arrow on the screen to locate the suspect vehicle's direction/location, and try crashing into the vehicles to lower their energy bars. If players do not capture the required number of suspects--by getting their energy bars down to nothing--within the allocated time frame, the game ends.

Role-Play Games
Kids may engage in various "Cops and Robbers" role-play games, coming up with different criminal situations that have police chasing after the "bad guys." Players take turns in the "good-guy" and "bad-guy" roles, using toy police vehicles with flashing lights and sirens, and action figures depicting police officers and robbers/criminals. As an alternative, kids may play live-action games. If portraying cops, kids don a cop's uniform and drive their own police vehicle around as they chase after the bad guys; kids ages 1 1/2 to 5 years could drive play cars such as a Little Tikes Patrol Police Car or a police officer wiggly cart, which kids ride like a bike. Play cars also come in handy for kids playing the criminal, as kids may drive around trying to evade the cops.
'World's Scariest Police Chases'
Based on the Fox Broadcasting special of the same name, Activision's "World's Scariest Police Chases" lets players drive a police cruiser for 20 high-speed pursuit missions. Available for the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 consoles, the teen-recommended game trains players before they hit the streets. Once players hit the streets, they encounter criminal activity such as car thievery, drunk drivings, hijacking, robbing and shoot-outs. Players try disabling suspect vehicles, by ramming them or, if necessary, shooting them to pieces. The two-player-mode option lets one player drive the car while the other fires shots at fleeing cars.
