Things You'll Need
Instructions
Get your friends together and have each of them design, build and finish their own CO2 racing car. CO2 racing cars start off as a wooden wedge with a pre-made hole in which to insert the CO2 canister, which makes them move. You can find all the supplies you need to build your own CO2 racing car at your local hobby shop, your local hardware store and online.
Have a CO2 design competition before the races start to add another element to your toy car game. You can have a judging panel made up of uninvolved friends and family who will give out prizes for certain categories such as design, color or whatever you want.
Place two CO2 racing cars on a track side by side. Make the track by simply bordering off enough space for the two cars on a driveway. Use tape to make the division lines or make a border out of plastic or wood. If you can find a toy car racing track big enough to fit the CO2 cars, you can use that as well.
Insert CO2 canisters into the CO2 holes in each of the racing cars. Puncture a hole in the canisters, in both cars at the same time, to get the cars going. Cars that go off the track, or break, will be disqualified. The loser, or disqualified players will be out of the game, while the winners will race against other winners until there is only one winner left. That will be the winner of your toy car game.
