The Best Girls PSP Games

After releasing two stationary PlayStation gaming consoles, Sony came out with its first handheld system, the PlayStation Portable (PSP), in 2005. The PSP features the same controller button setup as all of the PlayStation consoles and additional memory can be added to save progress in games. PSP systems offer several different genres of games, and many titles available interest female gamers.
  1. Tokobot

    • "Tokobot" was released by Tecmo in December 2005 only for the PSP gaming system. The main protagonist in "Tokobot" is an explorer named Bolt. Bolt finds a small, rare type of robot called a Tokobot and learns that villains are on their way to try to find the rest of the Tokobots. Players must navigate through different levels and evil bosses to find the different Tokobot characters before the enemies do. As Bolt finds more Tokobots, they even provide him with help during his battles with opponents. Many levels contain challenging puzzles that players must figure out prior to advancing further in the game. Tokobots can be challenging and is probably best for older girls.

    The Sims 2

    • "The Sims 2" was released by Electronic Arts for PSP, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo GameCube, PC, Macintosh, and Xbox in December 2005. In "The Sims 2," girls can create their own fictional characters and control their actions in life. Characters are highly customizable and can have a variety of physical features, hobbies, and job interests. Players can also interact with other characters throughout the game to build relationships with them. "The Sims 2" allows players a great deal of control over their environment, and both younger and older girls can learn the game quickly.

    LocoRoco

    • SCEA released "LocoRoco" exclusively for the PSP in September 2006. LocoRoco centers on a group of characters who must find a way to rid their planet of evil foes that have attacked. Players must collect giant berries over a total of 40 different levels to move closer to their goal of helping the LocoRoco creatures eliminate their enemies. Players must reach the end of each level intact in order to advance to the next, and the more berries they find, the larger the LocoRoco will grow. The 40 levels in LocoRoco are broken into five worlds that contain eight levels each. Aside from the main quest, players can enjoy mini-games in the LocoRoco house. LocoRoco features an interesting visual design, and it is simple enough for young girls to enjoy and challenging enough for older girls to benefit from as well.
