Jelly Belly Surprise
To play this game, have the kids stand in line in a single file. Stand at the head of the line with a bag of Jelly Belly candies, and instruct the first kid to close his or her eyes. Hand the first kid a Jelly Belly, and check the flavor on the back of the bag before offering it so you know the correct flavor. With eyes closed, the first contestant must correctly guess the flavor of the Jelly Belly. Proceed to the next kid.
All kids who guess the right flavor stay in line, and kids who get it wrong are eliminated from each round of the game. Continue the game until there is one contestant left. The last one standing should receive a small surprise or goody bag.
Jelly Belly 20 Questions
Have kids play a "20 Questions" game to guess the Jelly Belly you have under a cup. To play the game, you will need a napkin, an opaque cup and one Jelly Belly candy. Place the napkin on the table, and then hide the candy on it, under the cup.
Then the kids start asking questions with "yes" or "no" answers to try and narrow down the flavor of candy you have hidden. The child who announces the right flavor first gets the candy, and then you begin the game over again with a different flavor.
Baby Shower Guessing Game
Since adults also like candy, use Jelly Belly candies to keep guests occupied at a baby shower. Before the party, fill a glass jar with Jelly Belly candy, and count how many beans are going into the jar. As a backup, do the same thing with a small baby-food jar.
At the party, pass the large jar to each person who wants to participate in the game, and have them write their names and bean-count guesses on a list attached to a clipboard. Once everyone has guessed, announce the actual number. The person with the most nearly accurate guess wins the jar (or another prize).
If two people have the same winning guess, use the smaller baby food jar filled with Jelly Belly candies as a tie-breaker. The person who guesses the number in that jar wins the big prize and gives the smaller jar to the runner-up.
