Dark Tooth is like many other secret characters found in video games in that he will not become available until you accomplish a special task. Unlocking Dark Tooth is especially difficult in the PC version of Twisted Metal 2 because you have to enter a secret code in addition to completing the task. The task that is required takes a considerable amount of time and effort, but the reward will be one of the most sought after characters in the Twisted Metal series.

Choose a character other than Minion or Sweet Tooth.

Beat the game with the difficulty setting on hard.

Go to the character selection screen.

Press L1, left, up, down, left, up, L1, triangle, right, up, down, L1, R1. An explosion will be heard and Dark Tooth will become available.
