Things You'll Need
Instructions
Arrange the 15 red balls into a triangle with five balls on each side. The base of the triangle is 24 inches away from and parallel to the top cushion of the table, the opposite end of the baulk side.
Place the black ball 19 inches away from the top cushion and in the center of the table. You should be able to draw a straight line from the middle red ball in the base of the triangle to the black ball.
Place the pink ball directly in front of the peak of the triangle of red balls. It should be almost touching the red ball.
Place the blue ball in the exact center of the table. Use the two middle pockets to find this spot.
Place the brown ball in the center of the baulk line. At this point, you should be able to draw an imaginary straight line from the brown, blue, pink and black balls.
Place the green ball on the right side of the baulk line where the half circle meets the line.
Place the yellow ball on the left side of the baulk line where the half circle meets the line. The yellow, brown and green balls are now forming the straight edge of your imaginary "D."
Choose a spot anywhere inside the imaginary "D" to put the cue ball.
