How to Win at Cellblock

Play the game by getting your five icon pieces in a row before the computer opponent does. The game is similar to Connect-4, and you must move your piece to where you want it to go by clicking on it with your mouse. Click on the "Make Your Move" button at the bottom of the screen to complete your move.

Play through all eight levels of tournaments. Each tournament against an opponent consists of a set number of matches that advances with each level. There is 50 tournaments throughout the game, but the game continue. The ultimate goal is achieve the gold trophy, which can be won after completing tournament 11.

Use the same strategy for the first 10 tournaments as these tournaments will always start off with two of your pieces in the center of the game board. For these tournaments you'll basically want to think of all possible moves your opponent could make and go to those spaces before the opponent does.

Beat tournament 11 by creating a blocking strategy against your opponent. Once you get to tournament 11, the game is mostly up to luck. However, if you lose a game you can still continue on the same tournament until you win it. Continue until you win and once you beat level eight of tournament 11 you will win the gold trophy.

Win all tournaments up to tournament 50. In this tournament there will no longer be rocks that can block your moves as the board will be black when you start. The game basically will continue on the same difficulty level that started with tournament 11. You can continue to play in this free version mode, but once you've won the gold trophy in tournament 11 there is nothing else to win in the game.
