Bubble Blowing Contest
Challenge the kids to see who can blow the biggest bubble. Then, see who can form the smallest one. See who can blow the most bubbles in one breath. Another challenge is to see if anyone can blow one bubble inside another one. Just make sure the contest is fair and that each child has the same bubble solution and same type of bubble wand to use.
Bubble Popping
The players will blow as many bubbles as they can in one minute while one player pops them. They will count how many bubbles the player pops. Each player will have a turn popping bubbles, and the winner will be the person who pops the most.
Bubble Stacking
Create two-member teams, and have one team member blow a bubble and then catch it with the bubble wand. The other team member will also blow a bubble, catch it with his wand and then try to stack it on his teammate's bubble. Each person will take turns adding to the stack for a minute. The team that has the most bubbles stacked up when the time is up wins.
Bubble Floating
Have the participants partner up. One person from each duo will blow a bubble. Then, they will both try to keep their bubble afloat longer than the other teams by blowing on it or catching it with their wand. When their bubble pops, the duo is out. The team with the longest lasting bubble wins.
Bubble Maze
Have all the participants but one start blowing bubbles. That one person then attempts to walk through the bubble area without getting touched by any of the bubbles. Let each person have a turn trying to navigate through the maze.
Bubble Tag
The person who is "it" has the bubbles and chases the other participants while trying to "tag" someone with a bubble. Whenever another player gets tagged, then it is that individual's turn to be "it."
Bubble Races
Divide the participants into two equal teams. Line each team up single file, and designate a finish line. The first person in line will blow a bubble that she then has to guide across the finish line. If a person's bubble either floats off or pops, then she has to go back and start again. The winner will be the team that successfully gets all its team members across the finish line first. A variation on this game would be to have the teams blow their bubbles at a target a specified distance away. Once they hit their target, it is the next person's turn.
Bubble Ball
Designate a referee who will stand in the middle of the "field," and blow the bubbles. Two equal teams will then try to blow the bubbles into the other team's goal. You can score one point for each goal and set a time limit, or you can simply specify that the first team to score wins.
