Aim Big
Put most effort into creating a combination of four or more gems. This way you can create more power gems, ultimately resulting in more points.
Play the Top When Stuck
When you get stuck and can't find a combination, try playing the top of the board where the new gems have entered. The game has a rule set up so that the player will never be left without a combination. So, when you can't find a combination on the board, look in the area that the new gems have entered.
Play Quickly and Don't Overthink
It is important to play as fast as you can because you receive bonus points for speed. You also don't want to overthink each move. Just be fluid with your combinations and keep moving. Find a balance between speed and accuracy. If you play too fast, you may miss big moves, but if you play too slow, you won't receive the speed bonus.
Blow It Up
As soon as you receive a power gem, you should be looking to blow it up. Don't try to save them because you may run out of time, or a combination may not reappear if you pass up the opportunity.
