Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unplug the pinball machine and unscrew and take off the glass cover. Remove all pinballs from the machine.
Remove as many of the playfield parts as you can. If the machine has been in a warm location, wait until the playfield is cool to the touch before proceeding. The foam cleaner works best on a cool surface.
Spray the playfield with foam cleaner. Let it sit for 30-60 seconds. Wipe gently with a clean cloth.
Apply the plastic cleaner liberally to the playfield. Using a clean cloth, wipe the surface with long, sweeping strokes. Do not use pressure.
Re-apply plastic cleaner immediately and, using a clean cloth, polish the surface using short, circular strokes. Buff to a high glaze--until it feels smooth to the touch and shines under light--with a clean cloth.
Apply car wax to a clean cloth. Wipe it into the playfield using a circular motion. Allow it to dry completely, which should leave the playfield with a dull, waxy appearance. Use a clean cloth to buff the surface to a brilliant shine.
Replace the playfield parts. Clean pinballs using diluted glass cleaner (mix 1/3 part water to 2/3 parts glass cleaner to dilute). Replace any damaged or worn pinballs.
Clean the inside facing side of the glass cover with glass cleaner. Replace glass cover and clean the outside facing side of it.
