Family Feud
Family Feud, a board game from Endless Games, is a fast-moving, question-and-answer game that allows families to play as teams against one another or for three and more players. The top eight answers are on the board and it's up to players to figure out what the survey says. The third edition of this game contains more than 750 question-and-answer cards as well as Face Off and Fast Money Round cards. Up to 11 people can play at a time. Ages 8 and older apply.
Jenga
Jenga, a Hasbro product, is a physical building, deconstructing and rebuilding game that enables hours of loud fun between family members. At the onset of the game, players stack thin rectangle wooden blocks into a tall tower. When someone's turn comes up, he pulls a block from the stack and places it on top of the pile. The key is to not destablize the tower in the process and continue reconstructing the top half so that it doesn't get so top-heavy that it tumbles down. The player who makes the structure crumble loses. There are 54 blocks in total and this game is best played by ages 6 and up.
Blokus
Blokus, produced by Mattel, comes in a few versions, the original two- to four-player, Blokus Duo for two people, Blokus 3D and Blokus Trigon with a hexagonal board. It's a mental strategy game with a large silver square board that contains 400 spaces. Players receive pieces of differing shapes, lengths and sizes. Younger children love the pieces' varieties, colors and that they get to figure out where to place them independently. This game can be played by ages 5 and older.
