Instructions
Divide your whole group into teams of five to 10 individuals. If your group is inter-generational, mix generations or team up parents versus their children. If you are using the scavenger hunt as a team-building or an ice-breaker activity, inter-mix people of different departments.
Provide each team with a digital camera, Inexpensive cameras may be purchased for less than $10. Make sure you have the proper connection to download the photographs to your computer.
Establish the rules for the scavenger hunt. Rules should include boundaries in which the teams must remain, time limit and rendezvous spot. Photographs should include the entire team with the exception of the photographer. The photographer should rotate among team members.
Give each team a list of "scenes." The possibilities of these are limited only by your imagination. Some possible scenes include, a human pyramid, on a jungle gym, crammed into a small car and making snow angels.
Download each team's photographs onto a laptop computer. Connect the computer to a TV. Gather everyone around the TV and let the fun begin. Display each team's pictures and allow time for the teams to view and enjoy. Give awards for most creative pose, most difficult position and best use of background. Make sure every team receives at least one award.
