Perhaps you have recently come into the possession of a pinball machine, maybe through an inheritance or a settlement. It might be in your basement, garage or recreation room, and you are wondering how much it is worth. Pinball machine values can range from several hundred dollars to $10,000, depending on the game and its condition. That̵7;s a huge difference. If you are considering selling your machine, determine its value so you can be sure to get the fair market value for it.

  Consider the overall condition of the machine, its popularity and its rarity. Many factors can affect the value of similar machines. Has it been well maintained, receiving regular cleaning and repairs when needed, or has it been neglected?   Find and compare the prices of similar pinball machines at auctions. EBay is a good place to start. Look up the name and maker of your machine, and watch to see what a similar one sells for.
  
  Better yet, go to a live auction. Companies that hold pinball machine auctions around the country include Super Auctions and United States Amusement Auctions. You can get an idea of how much your pinball machine is worth by looking at the asking prices on other machines, and you can get an idea of how your machine's condition compares to others.
