Things You'll Need
Instructions
Practice the ring toss at home. This way, you can build up your skills without losing your money while you're at it. All you need is a plastic ring, 12 glass bottles, and a table. Practice from different distances, because all fair booths are not the same.
Toss the ring softly toward the front row of the bottles. This way, if it bounces past the first row, it can still land on top of bottles in the back. The soft throw is important because it helps the ring drop down over the bottle tops instead of ricocheting off the side of them.
Add spin to your toss by snapping your wrist. The more controlled backspin the ring has, the better the chance it has of dropping successfully onto a bottle top.
Go to the fair and try out what you practiced with real money. Be realistic. Your goal should be to win at ring toss more than most people. Winning every time is nearly impossible.
