Things You'll Need
Instructions
Snowman Ring Toss
Build your snowman to a size appropriate for your players. For example, small children need a snowman no taller than they are, but teens could play the game with one a bit taller than they are.
Line up children and have them step to a designated point and toss an embroidery or similar hoop over the snowman's head.
Allow several attempts. Taller players may enjoy the challenge of tossing a Hula-hoop over a larger snowman's head.
Headless Snowman
Build a two-tier (headless) snowman.
Photograph participants with their faces supplying that of the snowman.
Send digital photos as an instant memory.
Snowman Snack
Purchase large marshmallows and canned white frosting.
Divide the participants into teams, giving each team enough marshmallows and frosting to make at least one snowman for each player.
Say go. Each person must build a three-section snowman and then eat it. The winner is the first team to build and eat all its snowmen.
Mashed Snowman
Make a batch of healthy, vegetable-laden mashed potatoes,
Let the children mound the mashed potatoes into snowmen and eat them. It's a healthy balance to cookies and candy.
Add cauliflower puree and some butter to cooked potatoes. Mash well, and add salt and pepper to taste. Give children scoops of the potatoes, which they will mound up into snowmen and decorate with peas and carrot sticks for the snowman's eyes and nose.
