Instructions

  1. Constructing the Ladders

    • 1

Cut the PVC pipe into 12, 2-foot pieces, and 16, 1-foot pieces. Sand the edges with the sandpaper until smooth. Divide all of the pieces into pairs so that the pieces are laid out specifically for each ladder.

    • 2

Separate each set of the two-foot pieces, they will only be used for the bottom back braces and for the ladder rungs.

    • 3

Construct the ladder frame by connecting the one foot pieces together with the T and L connectors. The L connector should be used to connect the top ladder rung to the top of the sides. Attach the ladder rungs to the T connectors. There should be three rungs total counting the top rung.

    • 4

Connect three 1-foot PVC pipes together with the L connectors for the front section's base. Connect the front of the ladder ball base to the bottom of the ladder with a T connector.

    • 5

Connect three 2-foot PVC pipes together with the L connectors for the rear base, and connect this section to the ladder ball game. Repeat this process to create the other ladder.

    Making the Bolos

    • 6

Drill a ¼-inch hole completely through the golf balls. Recycled golf balls can be used. Select brightly colored golf balls for colorful bolos. "Bolo" is the term used for the 2 balls connected by a string, used to play the game.

    • 7

Run a shoelace through the golf ball and tie a tight knot in the end. Place hot glue inside the hole to affix the shoe lace to the inside of the ball.

    • 8

Place another golf ball onto the other end of the shoe lace. Tie a knot in that end and slide the golf ball down to sit on top of the knot. Apply hot glue inside that golf ball, too. Repeat the process to create each bolo.
