How to Make Your Own Fashion Games

Create paper dolls for a fashion game. Print out images of yourself or friends. The images should be full body, approximately 10 inches tall.

Lay a piece of white paper on top of each image and trace around the body. Do not trace the clothing. This will be your base for the paper doll. Make as many dolls as you will have people to play. Glue the tracing onto a thin piece of cardboard and cut around the body shape.

Give players fabric, scissors and glue and have them make outfits for their paper doll. Tell each player a word to use as inspiration, such as "shiny" or "heavy," and have them create an outfit based on the word provided. The other players should guess the word given to the player.

For another game, give each player a plain white T-shirt. Give the players 10 minutes to make a new outfit from the T-shirt. Have scissors, safety pins and ribbon available.

Use clothing you already have for another fashion game. Place piles of clothing in different rooms of the house, such as shirts in the living room, pants in the dining room, shoes in a bedroom and accessories in the kitchen. Make sure there is enough clothing in each room for each player. Have players race through the house, putting on one article of clothing in each room. The person who is fully dressed first wins.

Create a fashion scavenger hunt. Divide the players into two groups. Give each group a list of clothing items they need to find, such as a polka dot dress, black hat and purple shoes. Have the players search your home, or go to designated neighbors, to find the articles of clothing. The team must return to the party with one person dressed in the complete outfit. The first team to return wins.
