Tips for Alien Shooter

Alien Shooter is a fast-paced action game developed and distributed by the Sigma Team. In Alien Shooter, players select a male or female character and work their way through levels of battlefields by destroying all the aliens on each of the levels. Each level introduces new aliens in increasing numbers and can become hectic if you aren't ready. The object of the game is to blast your way to success through each of the levels while you collect money you can use to improve your weapons. Here are some tips and strategies you can use to survive the invasion.

Power Vs. Speed
- Choose whether you want power vs. speed. There are two characters to start with. One is a man and one is a woman. The man is more powerful and can take more hits before his health is gone, but he is slow and somewhat awkward, so getting away from the aliens is harder. The woman doesn't have the same strength, so she dies quicker when under attack. She's faster, though, and this can be an advantage. Choosing strength over speed is effective, however.
Finding Secrets
- Look for cracks in the wall. When you see a crack in the wall, shoot it until the wall crumbles open. You will find money, weapons and ammo inside the wall. You also can find extra lives and a helper who will temporarily accompany you and help you fight. Be careful entering the hole in the wall. It's a good idea to fire a few shots inside just to ensure there are no aliens waiting. Switch to your pistol to keep from wasting valuable ammo from better weapons. Your pistol has unlimited ammo.
Upgrade Choices
- Be careful when you upgrade. Upgrade your weapons when you have the money to do it, but don't worry about filling up on ammunition for the new weapon. You will be able to pick up ammo for the weapon during gameplay, so spending a lot of money on ammo will be a waste of funds you can use for other items, such as increased health and speed, or a med kit.
Battle Strategy
- Run just ahead of alien groups and turn to open fire on them periodically. This will kill off the front line and hold the others back. If you continue to do this throughout the battlefield, you will quickly knock the aliens off. You'll also see tanks and steel barrels along the way. Lead the aliens near these in large groups, then blast the tanks and barrels to blow up several aliens in one whack. Be sure you're far enough away before you shoot the tanks and barrels so you don't blow yourself up.
Cheat Codes
- If you like cheat codes to help you play the game easier, type cheata during game play and you will get 1,000 rounds of ammo for the weapon you're using. Type cheatm for $50,000 in money. Cheatw will give you all of the weapons, which you can cycle through using the number keys. If you want to skip a level, type cheate. All of these codes can be typed during gameplay.
