Instructions

    • 1

For a ring toss, drill three 1-inch holes on the 2-inch by 4-inch piece of wood. One hole should be in the center and one hole on either end of the wood. Place the three dowels through the holes. Secure with wood glue.

    • 2

Cut the rope in pieces long enough to make 8-inch diameter rings. Tape the ends of the rope together to make rings.

    • 3

Use the rings with the wooden dowel board you made for a ring toss game. Have people stand 3 yards from the game and try to throw the rings around the wooden dowels.

    • 4

Paint cardboard with an image to create a beanbag toss. Painting a clown is one example. Cut holes where the eyes, nose and mouth are on the clown. Use beanbags and throw them into the eyes, nose and mouth of the clown or image you painted.

    • 5

Give everyone a potato sack for a potato sack race. Each person must get into the potato sack. Draw a line with a piece of rope for the starting line. Draw another line 10 yards away with a piece of rope for the finish line.

    • 6

Blow a whistle to indicate the race has started. Participants must hop to the finish line in their potato sack.
