Look for the gun with the tightest shot grouping in the target shooting games; observe the players shooting before you to figure this out. When shooting, ignore the sights on the guns as they are never serviced. Aim for the outside edge of the colored areas instead of the center. This is definitely the hardest game of all.
Shoot the ball underhanded in the basketball games. This helps compensate for the fact that the balls are frequently over-inflated, screwing up the ball's direction with your natural shooting aim. Sadly, some carnies have caught on to this and will actually ban underhanded shooting.
In the dart balloon game, the points of the darts are usually dull, and the balloons are barely inflated. Unless you bring your own darts (which they probably won't let you use anyway), aim the dart so it can hit the balloon and board at a downward angle, using its weight to pop the balloon.
Aim for accuracy and not brawn in the "Test Your Strength" game. Make sure the mallet hits the dead center of the target. To help add extra force, grab the hammer with both hands at the very end and swing the mallet over your head with your back arched.
Aim for the middle of the bottom of the milk bottles when throwing balls at them. You want to knock down the bottom bottles at their center of gravity, making the ones above them topple with them. If it's a three-bottle stack, don't throw the ball at an angle.
Move slowly and steadily in the rope ladder game. Don't grab the rungs; grab the outer ropes with your hands while tucking your feet in the spot where the rung and side rope meet. Move your left hand at the same time as your right foot and vice versa to maintain balance.
