USS Kitty Hawk MegaBloks Instructions

Mega Brands is a company that specializes in creative construction toys, such as Mega Blocks, one of its main products. Mega Blocks is similar to the familiar LEGO toys in that it involves interlocking plastic pieces that can connect in a variety of ways to form different shapes and objects. One of Mega's products is a model of the USS Kitty Hawk battleship. With 1,700 multicolored pieces, the USS Kitty Hawk is a challenge for hobbyists, but a worthy one for those with the patience to assemble it.

Instructions

- 1
  Connect the pieces labeled under "Section 1" in the kit (see Resources section).
- 2
  Assemble the parts labeled "Section 2" and attach them to the "Section 1" parts per the diagram that came with the set. By now you should see the shape of the hull of the ship.
- 3
  Connect all the "Section 3" pieces together based on the given diagram. Note the use of temporary pieces in this section. These red pieces will be inserted as a placeholder and subsequently removed.
- 4
  Connect the pieces marked "Section 4" to the existing structure of the battleship, per the diagram.
- 5
  Position fighter jets, ramps, anchors and the remaining detail pieces on the ship model.
