How to Do a Puzzle Cube Eraser

The puzzle cube eraser is a type of three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle. It consists of six pieces of eraser material, which are different colors. They are purple, pink, blue, green, yellow and red. Sometimes these pieces will be numbered from one to six on one side. Not all of the puzzle cubes have this numbering, but their colors are consistent with those of the numbered pieces. Once connected, the puzzle will hold itself together in a cube shape.

Instructions

    • 1

      Spread out your puzzle pieces.

    • 2

Pick up pieces one and two. These are the purple and blue pieces. Piece one has two prongs on one side. The side opposite has one prong and there is one prong pointing out from a third side. Piece two has two prongs pointing up from one side. Opposite that is a side with an L-shaped prong.

    • 3

Turn piece two so that the side with two prongs is pressed against the one pronged side directly opposite the two pronged side of piece one. Slide the prong of piece one between the two prongs of piece two. Turn the pieces at a 90-degree angle to each other.

    • 4

Pick up piece three, which is the red one. It has two prongs on one side and directly opposite it is a side with two more prongs, one of which is an L shape.

    • 5

Turn piece three so that the side with the L-shaped prong is pressed against the top of piece one. Slide the prong on top of piece one between the two prongs of piece three.

    • 6

Pick up piece four, which is yellow. Turn it so that it looks like the number four. Slide the bottom prong of the number four between the two prongs on the open side of piece number one. Piece four should also be resting against the side of piece three.

    • 7

Pick up piece five, which is pink. It has three prongs, one pointing out of three separate sides and a fourth side shaped like a staircase.

    • 8

Turn piece five so that the prong directly opposite the staircase side is resting against the two prongs of piece two. One of these prongs is L shaped. Slide the prong on piece five between these two prongs.

    • 9

Pick up piece six, which is green. It looks rectangular with one prong pointing out from three sides. Turn it so the prongs fit against the remaining openings in the cube. Slide it into the eraser puzzle cube.
