How to Put Together a Plex Ball Puzzle

The Plex puzzle ball is a standard six piece, interlocking ball puzzle. All of the pieces are identical in size and shape, but can vary in color. Putting the puzzle together is a matter of arranging the pieces in their proper order and sliding a final locking piece in place to secure the shape. Puzzle balls require skill in holding the shapes together and patience in arranging the final pieces.

Instructions

  Pick up two pieces of the puzzle. Press the inside end of the first piece against the outside of the flat middle segement of the second piece. Hold in place.

  Pick up a third puzzle piece. Press the inside end of the third piece in place opposite the first piece in the same manner. Hold in place.

  Pick up a fourth puzzle piece. Rest it horizontally across one end of the second puzzle piece. Each end of the fourth piece will rest against the flat middle segments of the first and third pieces.

  Pick up a fifth puzzle piece. Slide this in between the open ends of the first and third pieces. One end of the fifth piece will rest against a flat middle segment of the fourth puzzle piece.

  Pick up the last puzzle piece. Slide this into the remaining open space between the first, second, third and fifth puzzle pieces. This piece won't touch the fourth puzzle piece, as it is directly opposite that piece in the puzzle ball.
