Test the puzzle to see if any pieces are loose enough to pull apart. New puzzles sometimes fit together too tightly for easy disassembly.
Tap the puzzle lightly on a hard surface to loosen it. Gently test each of the puzzle pieces to see if they've loosened enough to pull apart.
Roll the lumberjack puzzle across the floor or hard table. This is usually enough to loosen the puzzle pieces. Continue rolling and testing the pieces until you can slide one out. When one piece comes loose, the rest of the puzzle will fall apart.
