Crea-Soft Puzzles
Crea-Soft's website offers a staggering number of sliding puzzles, each with more than 60 different variations. Navigate your Internet browser to the site and click the photograph you'd like to work with. Most are photographs of flora and fauna, though there are a few of people. On the subsequent page, select the difficulty by choosing how many squares or rectangles you'd like in your puzzle. Note that the grid options highlighted in blue feature square tiles, as opposed to rectangles. After the puzzle loads, use the directional arrows on your keyboard to move the tiles around the board.
Click and Slide
Navigate your browser to Miniclip.com to play this fun sliding puzzle. Click on the arrows just below the image on the left side of the screen to select your puzzle background. Select the number of squares in your puzzle by clicking the dimension options under the "Size" interface. When you're satisfied with your selection, click the "Play" button between the arrows. Click on the piece you'd like to slide and it will automatically move into the empty space. The game automatically tracks time, puzzle completion percentage and the number of moves performed.
Jungle Squares
The sliding game pieces in Jungle Squares feature numbers, rather than images. Navigate your browser to agame.com and click "Play" at the top of the screen. Select your difficulty to begin play. As with "Click and Slide," you only need to click each square to move it into the empty space. The object of the game is to arrange the squares in such a way that the numbers are listed in order, much like the keypad on a telephone. Jungle Squares also tracks time and features optional music and sound effects.
