How to Create a Digital Jigsaw Puzzle Online With Different Difficulty Levels

Locate and load one of the online puzzle making programs (see Resources). If you have a preferred puzzle maker, feel free to use that instead.

Click the "Choose file" button on the application, and use the computer's dialog to select the photo you want to upload for the puzzle.

Choose the size and shape of your puzzle pieces, depending on the application you're using. Jigsaw Planet's application lets you choose a number of pieces, and the larger number of pieces make a more difficult puzzle, while a smaller number of pieces means a simpler one. On Flash-Gear, the program lets you choose a size of the pieces.

Select any other options available in the program you're using. On some applications, it may change the puzzle directly into an online version; in other applications, you may have to press a button that says "Create" first.

Complete the puzzle. If you find that this puzzle looks or is too hard or too easy, return to the Flash application and try a higher difficulty option.
