Separating Pieces and Parts
When you open your 3D puzzle, dump the pieces onto a flat surface and turn all of the pieces face-up. Wrebbit puzzles come with unnecessary pieces that have tiny red dots on them. Place the pieces with tiny red dots back in the box. Do not throw the red dot pieces away, since you might overlook a small piece that could be connected to a red dot piece that is actually used in the puzzle. Study the image of the puzzle on the box and separate the pieces into piles based on which part of the puzzle they match. If you don't know, give your best guess.
Working The Puzzle
Work the puzzle one part at a time, beginning with the base if there is one. Work edge pieces first, then fill in the rest of the section. Do not start putting the puzzle together in its 3D shape until you have most or all of the sides together. Starting to build the puzzle vertically too soon can lead to removing pieces already placed. Save time by building your puzzle walls before connecting them to the base. Always work the puzzle from the base up.
Running into Snags
Refer to pictures on the front and back of the box if you get stuck with a certain section. Wrebbit puzzles come with an instruction manual that shows how all of the pieces should fit together. Use the instruction manual to determine the shape of particularly challenging pieces. Puzz3D.org offers an extensive list of instruction manuals if you've lost yours or one wasn't included with your puzzle. If you're having trouble finding a particular piece, try looking in the other piles that you've separated out. Chances are some pieces look very similar and you could have made an error in your initial separation. Look back through your pieces of tiny red dots to make sure you didn't accidentally put aside a piece that you need.
