If you enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, you know how difficult it can be to find a stable surface on which to put the pieces together. You need to find a place that is both large enough and not in use. The dining room table is often a large-enough surface, but you will need to move your puzzle out of the way during meals. Picking up 500 pieces of a puzzle when only half of them are pieced together is impractical, but there is a better solution. You can make a foam puzzle board that will allow you to easily move your puzzle to another room while you use the dining room table, and with a felt surface on top, your pieces will not slide.
- 1 36-by-36-inch foam poster board (available at office supply stores)
- 1 36-by36-inch piece of felt cut in a square to cover the surface of the foam poster board
- White glue (such as Elmer's school glue or a craft glue)
- Scissors
