Cupid Pre-K Games

Kids associate Valentine's Day with candy, cards and hearts, as well as a young boy shooting arrows and spreading love. As early as prekindergarten, kids may gain awareness of the mythological Cupid and his quest to make people fall in love. With assistance from an adult at home or in the classroom, kids use pre-K Cupid games to celebrate the Valentine's Day icon.
  1. Bow-and-Arrow Games

    • Pre-K kids shoot arrows at couples to make them fall in love in "Cupid Hearts," found at Girl Games Plaza. Have kids move their mouse to position their arrow and hold the left mouse button down to adjust shooting power. Players lose a life if they shoot the wrong person and advance to the next level upon matching all of the right couples. Daphne and Velma try to win Fred's affections in "Scooby-Doo Love Quest," found at Kids WB. Have kids move their mouse to move Scooby and bounce hearts off his head until they reach Fred. Players lose a life if a heart touches the ground.

    Dress-Up Games

    • Kids make over a female Cupid in "Cupid Doll Dress Up," found at GirlGames4U. Have kids click each category to sort through style options for hair, eye color, earrings, bow and arrow, wings, tops and bottoms and footwear. Kids may print the Cupid doll upon finishing the makeover. A canine Cupid needs styling in "Cupid Toto Dress Up," found at Doli Doli. Kids click through each category to choose the Cupid dog's hair, wings, bow and arrow, clothing, tie and footwear.

    Mazes

    • Printable mazes give pre-K kids the opportunity to help Cupid find his way. At the Kidopo site, kids help Cupid move through a heart-shaped maze. Kids finish the maze once they reach the heart and arrow. Cupid needs help finding a Valentine card in "Cupid Lost Valentine Maze," found at Moms Break. Starting at Cupid, kids move through the maze until they reach the envelope with hearts pouring out of it.

    Party Games

    • Pre-K students channel their inner Cupid during home or classroom party games. To test their Cupid shooting skills, kids take turns throwing five darts each at a bullseye chart full of construction-paper hearts. The leader prepares nine hearts: one for the center, and two each that go above the center, below the center, to the left of the center and to the right of the center. Kids score the following upon hitting a heart: 10 points for the outermost heart on any of the four sides; 25 points for the second-outermost heart on any of the four sides; or 50 points for the heart in the middle. The kid with the highest score wins. Kids also may add a Cupid twist to classic party games such as Simon Says and Pin the Tail on the Donkey.

    Miscellaneous Games

    • Cupid enlists Pre-K kids to protect hearts from little devils in "Cupid Clubber," found at Kaboose Funschool. Have kids press the arrow keys to move Cupid and hit devils. Players lose a heart if a devil swipes it. The game ends if players lose three hearts. Kids try to score as many points as possible in 180 seconds in "Cupid's Crush," found at GirlGames4U. Have kids click on two adjacent valentine's Day items to switch their position. Items disappear from the screen once kids align three or more of the same item.
