Balloon Games

• Give each boy a small and large inflated balloon. Mark a starting line and finish line about 25 feet apart. When you say ̶0;Go,̶1; the boys must balance the small balloon on top of the large balloon and race to the finish line. If they touch the balloon or it falls to the floor, they must start over. The first boy across the finish line wins the race. Alternatively, play this game in teams by having a relay race. The boys must race the balloons to the finish line and back to hand them off to the next player. The team who finishes the relay first wins the race.

Funny Games

• Host a rooster fight by selecting two boys to stand inside a circle. Make the circle on the ground using duct tape. Each boy must hold his leg up by his ankle at his rear end and balance on one foot. The boys must bump into each other using only their shoulders to try to make opponents lose balance. Once a boy lets go of his leg, he loses. Play this game with all the boys by having all of them get in the circle and play at the same time. Anyone who loses balance is out of the game. The last player standing wins the game. Another idea is a flamingo contest. Have the boys see who can stand on one leg the longest.

Ball Games

• Use a soccer ball to play a game of crab soccer. Divide the boys into two teams. Place two cardboard boxes on their sides to use as goals. They boys must crawl on all fours with their bottoms facing the ground to play a game of soccer. The first team to score five points wins the game. Have each den have a team and play a tournament-style game of crab soccer. For another ball game, have each den stand in a circle and bump a volleyball to one another. Any team who drops the ball is out of the game. The team who can bump the volleyball the longest wins the game.

Hunt Games

• Create indoor scavenger hunt games for the boys to play. Hide several pennies all around the party room. The boy who finds the most pennies wins the game. Alternatively, call out a year and the boy who finds a penny with that year wins the game. Another hunt game is marble hunt. Give each den a marble and have them hide the marble in a room. Switch rooms and each den must find the marble the other den hid in the room. The first team to find the hidden marble wins the game.
