How to Lose Your Tail in Meerca Chase

The "Neopets" game "Meerca Chase II" is similar to the game "Snake." Your character, a Meerca, moves around the screen to catch smiling, egg-like objects called "neggs." The more neggs you capture, the longer your tail gets. If you run into the tail, or eat red neggs, the game will end. The Ferocious Negg level has little to no red neggs and all of the other neggs are in constant motion. This is the only level where it is possible to lose your tail, which you can do with a cheat code.

     Start a new game in "Meerca Chase II." The main menu screen will appear.

     Type "ferociousneggsareontheloose" to activate Ferocious Negg mode.

     Begin game play. Use the arrow keys to manipulate Meerca character and capture the neggs. The cheat will keep the tail from growing. The game ends when too many neggs fill the screen and your character can no longer move.
