Things You'll Need
Instructions
Place one sponge ball in each of your hip pockets. Compress the third sponge ball and hold it between the middle and ring fingers.
Show your hand empty, both sides. Don't linger on this step; a quick flash is all that is needed. Close your hand into a fist, allowing the sponge ball to fall into it.
Open your hand, revealing the sponge ball. Act surprised -- the magic is as much about your body language as it is about your technique.
Pull another sponge ball out of your pocket with the left hand. Show it, and add it to the first ball in your right hand. Display both of them in your right hand, then pretend to pass them to the left hand. Keeping them in the right hand, drop the empty left hand back into your pocket.
Show the left hand empty, implying that you dropped the two sponge balls into your pocket. Then open your right hand, revealing the two sponge balls there. Act shocked and surprised. Take one in each hand, lifting them up and displaying them. Pretend to put them in your pockets.
Leave the left hand sponge ball in your pocket. With your right hand, grab both the ball you'd had in your hand and the other that was in your pocket. Pull them out squished together between your fingers and call up a volunteer from the audience. Place them in their hand, wiggle your fingers over their hand and say the magic word. Have them open their hand, revealing that the magic has taken place again. Take your bows and reset the balls in your pockets for another performance.
